What version of the song 900 Miles did you use in the trailer for Mum & Dad?
I love how haunting it is, but I can't find who it's by anywhere.

Just seen Mum & Dad and enjoyed it. What makes it extra special is when I found out that budget was so tiny. Rather 10 movies at £100K rather than some of the Hollywood dross that is pump out at £150M.
Can you let us know how the film has been doing box office, dvd and download, along with how much the advertising was? It would be interesting on seeing how long before it turned a profit, so much as so to possibly encourage more investment in this type of British movie as opposed to yet another Jane Austen adaption.

I can't go into too much detail about the finances, because I don't have all the figures (and because the distributor wouldn't want me to), but we're on course to make a profit on the film - it's selling well on DVD over here - in a somewhat shrinking market - and will be launced in the States in May. We've had a lot of great industry feedback on the film - people are genuinely impressed at what we did on the money - and I guess the test will be how much people are willing to give me for my next film...

Oh, and the version of '900 Miles' is by the very great Gemma Ray. As far as I know it's not available anywhere, but maybe you could get in touch and ask her if she'll put it out sometime.
